IVPL Writer's Group

The IVPL Writer's Group is a group of aspiring authors who meet monthly to critique each other's work, discuss the craft of writing, and encourage one another’s efforts in putting pen to paper (or fingers to keys, as it may be). We are all at different stages in the process of completing and publishing our work, but our common bond is a passion for the written word.

At each meeting, two or three members volunteer to share their work to be critiqued, and the next time we gather, the piece is discussed. The goal is to offer constructive criticism with the intent to help the writer improve. Submissions have included short stories, essays, poems, biographies, and novels of science fiction, mystery and young adult.
