Genealogy Workshop – Having Ancestors for Lunch

Join us for a variety of topics on genealogy. Bring a brown bag lunch if you wish.

August 27: French / Canadian – French Canadian?
Are your ancestors from north of the border? Did they parlez vous Francais at some point? We will explore what resources are available for those of Canadian descent, whether French or English, and what is available to trace back to Europe, or to one of the British Colonies.

September 24: Heritage Societies : DAR, SAR and beyond.
Have you ever looked at the DAR /SAR and thought that you might qualify? Did your ancestors come over on the Mayflower, or are of German or Italian descent? There may be a Heritage Society or Lineage Society for you!
