A general introduction to politics and the American political system presented in four parts by MCCC Professor Emeritus Dr. Tom Kolsky.
I. October 9: the Basic Building Blocks of Politics & Political Science
An examination of the elements of political science and the role of politics and government in or lives
II. October 16: The American Political System in Comparative Perspective
An analysis of the structure and functions of the American political system and politics
III. October 23: International Politics, War & Peace, and Foreign Policy
An exploration of the relations between and among sovereign states and the management of conflict and cooperation that govern those relations
IV. October 30: Open Forum: 2016 Elections
An open discussion of all issues and candidates in the 2016 elections.

October 24th (6-8pm) is for anyone ages 14+ to learn and practice life-saving skills including; adult, child, and infant CPR/AED, and choking relief techniques.
